Being born a man feels the shock of transition in "hostile" environment. As they grow older it will go through a second shock - the idea (not always perceived simultaneously), that in this world from his little depends. Practically nothing. Laws, rules of the game, the tradition that a person is forced to comply with, worked out even before his birth. Since no one was consulted, design is not perfect economic, social, cultural environment for its fulfillment. Environment in which anyone not interested in your dreams, where they pay money for anything, but not for the fact that you are ready to name favorite work.
And the man begins to take revenge on the world. The most sophisticated and efficient way - simulating a useful activity.

This topic of conversation, I proposed to Oleg Silyavskomu, one of the best Belarusian business consultants and coaches.

"Illness"

- Oleg Nikolayevich, sometimes I get the impression (especially when starting to take a sober view of himself) that the imitation of activity - almost indiscriminate phenomenon. But then I pick up another article or book on business, and doubts - but not fancy it? Because companies operate, profits are growing, developing markets (interview took place five months before the world crisis - YS). What, in your opinion, the real scale of this phenomenon?

- Although the research on simulation activities not carried out - at least, I do not know about them - many people businesses are aware that this phenomenon really exists. In private business, it occurs after all a little less, because a private business allows a person a little more freedom to realize their potential. State opens for business simulators more space, as based on the "generosity" speechless taxpayers. Either way, the phenomenon is the place to be for enterprises of all forms of ownership. It is difficult to find a company fully back from the simulators and simulation of business processes.

- Did time scale of this phenomenon?

- I look with cautious optimism on the ability of mankind to change for the better. So, obviously rooted in the past era of "professional slavery" when a man was forced to accept any job, just to survive and feed their families. Today, according to Nordstrom and Ridderstralle, bestselling author of "Funky Business", a man got into the private property of the main means of production of all time - your own brain. And that means that he has appeared much more possibilities to realize their potential. But, nevertheless, most people still are in the network simulations.

- Why?

- Man is not only deprived of the opportunity to choose the socio-historical context for its development - by its very nature it is just and is designed for life in a given context. Once I was committed to the spiritual teachings and practices that require care, removal from the world. We believe that for a normal spiritual and personal growth to man as air is needed socio-historical context. But in the social environment in the way of rights inevitably arise traps.
The first trap of the "offer" family and parents. Typically, a child brought up by parents who themselves still need to educate and bring up - people are not mature nor professional, nor in human terms. Often, they impose their child is not quite peculiar to his individual nature of attitudes and norms of behavior, even thinking patterns. The child connected with the parents and vital to survive, forced them to adapt. He is accustomed to behave as they wish and are taught to imitate those behaviors with which internally disagree. Usually, this conflict is hidden in the subconscious level: very few people can realize it, especially children. The child - a great simulator that we have seen in so-called standouts: Only a few of them truly know and love objects, which receive top marks. Over the years the habit of simulated moving into productive activities. I have often met with "eternal honors: such a person comes to the interview - and take him to go to work. Because all the obvious: he - out of competition and is suitable in all respects. In a year or even two, before the director starts to wonder: why this "superspecialists" no real impact?
The second reason for the appearance of imitators - the temptations with which man faces in adulthood. So, a lot of temptations to offer the modern pop culture and mass media. It is a great example - "Star Factory" where you try to convince that a star can become one. And the "mold" imitation talents as ravioli on the conveyor. One question: where then disappear all these "stars" for one day?

- And what temptations offers a person a business?

- First and foremost, of course, money. Many people, by their nature are not created for business, lured with money, which is rotated in the business. Although the money swirling and many other places: for example, in sports or in art, where painting fashionable artist can easily cost a million dollars. Another temptation - the power, the ability to revel in the thought: I have my own business, I manage my company. For myself I know: to be the director of the company - a great temptation. But today I feel that I would much more useful to your company as a private consultant than a director. I have left to do a little effort and get down with the director's chair, take a position and a consultant, while remaining the owner of the company, transfer the management of a person who as a director would be more competent and I will have more to love this job ... to succeed in business can only be if you love to, to . That's one of my friends, very good musician, went into business selling plumbing. He says that he found himself and everybody happy, and the flute plays in the evenings. A man was lucky: the strings were found in his soul, who snagged business. It often happens this way: people are living in a state of internal discord, with the feeling that choosing when a business is not entered into his door. And then comes the imitation of the wise and prudent manager of the owner ...

- What is the danger of such a leader is to his business?

- Quite often, people create a business with one hand, and another - destroy. This can go on long enough, depending on how balanced the two trends and how the resource potential of the industry. In some industries, money is made relatively easy to compensate for the damage that causes the enterprise to its own owner. Although often happens that a person creates in one place, and destroys the other. For example, the businessman keeps his company in good shape, but it always goes to the binges, or disease. Soul rift without consequences does not do, and if the problem is not solved - at each new turn of the consequences compounded. So our world is arranged. Man seems to be working against somebody's evil will or the law of villainy - though in fact it is the result of its internal inconsistency: it is his soul argue with the choice of the mind. Naturally, the head can not hide an internal conflict of the staff - and then going demotivation of staff. People see that the head of business itself is not very interested in it, and ask themselves: And what shall we, more than anyone need? And adjusting to the head, begin to actively mimic activities. This is especially true for smaller companies, all aspects of life which determine the pulses directly emanating from the head.

- How often in the simulation business process are included chains of businesses?

- Any system works in conjunction with other systems. As you know, not just individual companies but entire industries at some point become worthless, unpromising - but still very least operate at the expense of defrauded consumers or state subsidies, by all means simulating a useful activity. In these organizational results chain of moving from one company to another, but in reality nothing worthwhile, beneficial to the end user, not created.

- How did they manage to mislead consumers?

- When I encounter a simulation chain, always ask yourself the question: who needs it, who "tune"? Classics of the genre - oil and gasoline production. For a long time cars were invented, running on electricity or even water. They are no worse than gasoline cars, but still profitable corporations to extract oil - oil production will continue, but will buy up patents and hide in boxes. Oil has become an imitation - but this simulation gives participants the chain a lot of money, and therefore will continue indefinitely until the sources of raw materials themselves exhausted. Or until civilization does not rise to the level at which is dominated by other values, such as ecology. But this is a long-term prospects ...
The surrounding world raises many questions. For example, today there is great need in the military-industrial complex and the state itself as such? After all, people have reached such a level of self-government, in which it is able to do if not altogether without a state, without many of its institutions. For example, without borders and customs. To prove the public need to strengthen the armed forces, the state sometimes pull down skyscrapers and launch wars. While it is understandable that skyscrapers do not fall from the aircraft rams as we have shown - that you any good engineer will tell ... However, for the simulation chain is not always hiding "malice" and "customer". Often it works just the old-fashioned, because of human laziness. A new, more perfect mechanism - but it is not implemented for years, and operates an old, inefficient. The picture is well known to us from the Soviet period.

"Complications"

- I think we came to the phenomenon, which is in close symbiosis with the phenomenon of imitation. The simulator, to hide the fact of imitation, manipulates others. And often, he himself becomes the victim of other manipulators. States to actively manipulate their citizens and business - through advertising - consumers.

- It is known that any system, whether state or the advertising business, working up until has its adherents - otherwise it loses momentum, deaf. Therefore, part of its energy system spends to recruit followers or by other means. Business - through marketing and advertising, state - through political action.

- How do you recognize that you manipulated?

- The object of any manipulation - our feelings, chord of the soul. For example, often manipulators trying to arouse in its victims feelings of guilt, shame and fear. However, it is - old tricks: in past ages, they enjoyed great popularity, and now increasingly amenable to expose. Therefore, modern manipulators resorted to more sophisticated methods.
Thus, the most common today manipulation designed to have a natural sense of self-esteem to replace the desire to seem cool. Americans are on this already divorced, and now began for us. While it is understandable that the American dream - a "specific divorce. You say: you will be the best jobs and the best cottage - and you spend all your energy on something to get one of the millions of better jobs, and one of the hundreds of thousands of the best houses. It is clear that every person strives for the best, but this does not mean that you should forget about their true interests and make every effort to assist corporations to sell products and services. It's not the fact that you need razor blades, which shaves a hundred times better than the same machine that was advertised last month. Or that you will make happy more pixels on the computer screen - despite the fact that the naked eye can not distinguish between these pixels.
Another popular now receiving "specific divorce", which most often are teenagers: "And you do poorly-and-then?". When you hear something like that, you should ask yourself: what would I do? And if you do not find anything in tune with your personal or professional purposes - most likely for you once again hunted manipulators. The easiest way to identify the robot arm, with whom you are talking directly to the office and meeting room. You will realize that next to you - manipulator, the loss of its own energy. Such people are popularly known as vampires, and say that because of the milk kisnet. Of course, this is an exaggeration, the image - but exactly that in the presence of manipulators bad mood. Equal cooperation leads to an overall increase in energy, and with a manipulator you will always have the feeling that you are doing work through force or pressure.

- Do you believe that over time the number of manipulations in our world is diminished?

- People will always be vulnerable to manipulation. Channel manipulation can be called differently: systems, attractors, or pendulum, as in the books Vadim Zealand. But the point is that the pendulum will always try to grab human energy.
Another thing is that the general awareness of people increases. People, whatever one may say, are getting smarter. Children start with higher levels than their parents. And if you compare the entire period, the difference becomes obvious even to the skeptics. While people were busy survival and satisfaction of basic needs - they have not had time to think about their own interests and to discuss the orders of superiors. Now is the time for that is there, so the systems have to work thinner and set himself at the service of scientific, technological and cultural achievements. I would like to emphasize that by themselves such systems are neutral. They dominate the man only if he recklessly included in the game, not realizing their own interests. If he listens to himself - that he is able to subordinate the "pendulum" to its goals. So, I met people who, even in the most plush manipulative companies have been able to maintain an independent position "free artist" and firmly defend their interests.

- What do you mean by "more subtle manipulation"?
- Take the same internet. Ten years, we rejoiced that they had received with it a universal and free access to knowledge. And now increasingly forced to say that the Internet, followed by television, becoming a means indoctrinate people, their binding to specific media channels, opinions, interests. Although, of course, the Internet gives greater freedom of choice than television, leaves less room for manipulation, for improvement of human exposure.

- What now more profitable to build a business? On the manipulation of consumers and its own employees - or to inform, cooperation, freedom of choice?

– Хороший вопрос… Не возьмусь оценивать западный бизнес – для этого нужно жить и работать в его контексте. А по поводу отечественного бизнеса скажу следующее. К сожалению (а может, и к счастью), на данном этапе наблюдается некое равновесие, не столько количественное, сколько качественное: рынок позволяет хорош зарабатывать и так, и эдак. С одной стороны, по-прежнему процветают компании, отношения в которых построены на жестких манипуляциях персоналом и клиентами. С другой стороны, все больше компаний добиваются успеха, опираясь на равноправный диалог и партнерство. И та, и другая модель может приносить прибыль. Но с тем же успехом может оказаться убыточной – если будет проводиться в жизнь недостаточно последовательно и профессионально. Так что выбор модели в наших условиях пока лежит, скорее, в области моральных, нежели рыночных категорий.

«Лечение»

– Что делать бизнесмену, который хотел бы реализовать свой истинный потенциал?

– Прежде всего, не нужно застревать в одной сфере деятельности, даже если она дает массу бонусов. Нужно постоянно задавать себе вопрос: «Как я работаю, по любви или по принуждени.?» – и смещаться в те сферы деятельности, о которых вы можете искренне сказать: мне это нравится, я хотел бы этим заниматься, я это люблю. Второй важный признак – преуспеяние: работа должна приносить профессиональные результаты. Фигурально выражаясь, мало с душой и выдумкой изготовить новый логотип компании – важно превратить его в успешный бренд.

– А как определить, в чем я могу добиться успеха?

Ie deceive ourselves twice.

- You met people who were able not only to realize his calling and "reprogram" your life?

- Yes, I know many such people. С одними это происходило спонтанно, с другими – после долгих внутренних поисков. Совсем недавно моя ученица заявила, что осознала себя в качестве фрилансера, свободного консультанта, что ей всегда будет тесно в рамках фирменной структуры, какие бы комфортные условия для нее не создавались. И это очень важный выбор: каждому человеку на пути к личному успеху нужно определить приемлемую для себя меру свободы и ответственности. Точно так же бывает важно понять, что деятельность, в которую вы инвестировали много времени и сил, себя исчерпала. Например, в одной из моих обучающих программ участвовала женщина, бухгалтер-экономист по специальности, которая долго пыталась сделать карьеру в банковской сфера. Ухватив азы психологии, она вдруг поняла, что это и есть ее призвание. Сейчас она заканчивает обучение в области гештальт-подхода и уже зарабатывает деньги новой профессией. А иногда люди делают разворот на сто восемьдесят градусов совершено спонтанно. Один мой знакомый после техникума достаточно долго проработал автомехаником – и все эти годы практически не вспоминал свое детское увлечение фотографией. Потом как-то познакомился с девушкой, которая увлекалась конным спортом, и попытался запечатлеть ее для домашнего фотоальбома. К собственному удивлению обнаружил, что фотографии у него получились получше средненького любительского уровня. Начал снимать скачки – результат оказался еще лучше. И тогда он понес свои работы в газету… Сегодня это высокооплачиваемый и уважаемый спортивный фотограф, которому редакции заказывают репортажи с мировых чемпионатов и олимпийских игр. И он это заслужил, поскольку не отмахнулся по привычке от своего первого маленького успеха, а имел смелость пойти за ним. Страх неудачи – это еще одна распространенная ловушка, из-за которой многие люди выбирают вместо настоящей жизни ее имитацию. Выше я говорил о людях, попадающих в бизнес по ошибке. Но примерно в той же пропорции встречается обратная ситуация. Человек создан для предпринимательской деятельности, но считает ее не слишком стабильным источником дохода. Из страха подвести семью под монастырь он имитирует за мизерную зарплату работу на предприятии, чья продукция давно никому не нужна.

– Как действовать бизнесмену, который пришел к выводу, что для него некомфортна манипулятивная среда, исторически сложившаяся в компании?

– Как тогда действовать?

Продолжать играть в социальные игры, манипулировать и поддаваться манипуляциям. От вас потребуется вести себя эффективно и безупречно, чтобы не позволить внешним маскам срастись с внутренним проектом и подменить его. Это значит, что вы соглашаетесь до поры до времени разговаривать с людьми на привычном для них языке – но в то же время осознаете, что ваши работники имеют такое же право строить свою жизнь в соответствии с внутренней природой, как и вы. Такой подход хорошо описан в книге Клауса Кобьелла «Мотивация в стиле экшн». Если есть работа, всегда найдется человек, который сделает ее с любовью. От вас требуется, ни много, ни мало – правильно распределить людей. Распределить их так, чтобы воцарилась своего рода «конституционная анархия», когда каждый занимается тем, что ему нравится, а компания в целом является лучшим коллективным специалистом на рынке.
